This week, Misha’s kicking off her FREE preview classes for her upcoming Naturebreaks online study. Once a week, she will be dropping a lil bit of her nature wisdom here for folks. Her mission? Help people boldly go where they may not have gone before: Out into the beautiful great wide world!

You can bet Misha applied the 3 tips she talks about in the video below before she sat down in all her bellydance finery!

These little previews are short bite sized tips and tricks to help you feel more comfortable with the natural world. In her first video, Misha shares her top 3 tips on what to look for when you’re seeking the perfect observation spot in nature. This is the time when you don’t want to just walk through nature, but actively take a mindful action to connect with the place by spending a bit of time in stillness observing and soaking up that awesome Vitamin N. In this week’s Naturebreaks Preview, Misha will give you tips and tricks on what to look for when you’re looking for a place to stay and enjoy nature for a while.

What is that whole Naturebreaks thing anyway? Well, Misha’s spent the last 20 some odd years working in, and teaching about, the environment, its processes, and its incredible creatures. Over the years, she’s noticed that not everyone is super comfortable with the wild. And that’s totally understandable because, dang, nature can be scary! Misha believes, however, that when we connect to the beautiful natural world around us we find deep healing and wonder, and she also knows that everyone can find a way to make that connection. In her 4 week Naturebreaks course, she will provide guidance and a variety of exercises and activities to help you establish, or deepen, your connection. Each week you’ll receive an email packed with videos detailing the week’s work and focus as well as the science and conservation elements of your experience, a guided meditation, a wander prompt, and a collection of #naturebreak images that correlate with the weekly theme to inspire you throughout the week. Naturebreaks will launch in August 2019, so stay tuned for more information on how to participate!
